This solo project began in 2008 when my good friend suggested to me to start my own band after being in several projects with him.
I began playing the guitar at age nine with a 20$ First Act acoustic guitar from Wal-Mart. I originally wanted an electric guitar after being fascinated by my friend getting one. My parents told me if I dedicated to it and actually learned to play guitar, they would get me the electric guitar. And so, I started to strive to become the best I could be.
At the age of five I was in choir classes as well as xylophone and flute practice so music had always been a part of my life. I had also received an electronic piano from my grandfather around that time, and occasionally I would mess around with the different sounds it had. I still have that keyboard and use it for recording.
About a year after playing the acoustic guitar I received my electric guitar and by that time I had the basic knowledge to go from chord to chord and to create my own songs.
It wasn't until the age of 11 that I received my first recording software/hardware in which I would plug in my guitar onto Guitarport and record several layers of riffs. This practice enhanced my creativity when it came to riffing dual guitars.
At around age fifteen I was in a pop punk band, No Protocol, and I decided to try a new instrument: the drums. I picked it up quite easily, since it was my second instrument (technically third) and I already had a good knowledge of maintaining tempo and creating beats.
It wasn't until the age of 20 that I got my own bass. Now is when I actually started practicing my vocals also and at this point I am happy where I stand because I know there's nothing but improvement along the way and nothing makes me happier in the world than being able to create my own music.
